Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is the primary consultative body to the Pastor/Parish Life Director. In this capacity the Council is responsible to represent the interests of the larger parish community; provide recommendations for direction, priorities and policies through pastoral planning; and promote communication and understanding within the parish. Consultation with parish members, leadership, and the parish team by the Council is essential to the integrity of the process.

Pastoral Council Mission Statement

The mission of the Sacred Heart Pastoral Council is to foster the unity and participation of the Sacred Heart community by joining our pastor/parish life director in setting a vision for our parish as a center for Catholic formation, ongoing spiritual growth, and outreach to the whole community.  As a pastoral council our intention is to bring the light of Christ to life for others by imitating Him in prayer, service and action.

The Pastoral Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.  For more information, contact Rita Mountain through the parish office.
